announced committee
appointments this week.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher,
R-Huntington Beach/Long
Beach, was announced as
the chairman of a newly
formed oversight panel on
the House International
Relations Committee.
In his new role, Rohrabacher
said his first priority will
be an investigation of the
U.N. Oil for Food program,
which currently is under
investigation in the Senate.
He also vowed to look into
technology transfer issues,
visa policies and the
Chinese proliferation of
nuclear weapons technology.
