Huntington Beach adult entertainment usually begins after 8 p.m. along Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway and in other parts of the city of Huntington Beach, which spans approximately 28 square miles adjacent to the Southern California Pacific coastline in Orange County. You can wander between restaurants and pubs to see a variety of entertainment where cover fees are seldom more than $5 to $10 for live entertainment and DJs. To listen to bands in regularly scheduled events, your best bets are Gallaghers, Perqs, Hurricane's, Martini Blues, Tumbleweed's and Marlin Bar. Many restaurants such as Duke's, Arbors, Avila's El Ranchito, Pete Mallory's, Killarney, Chimayo at the Beach, Huntington Beach Beer Company and lounges such as Red Chair Lounge at the Hyatt Regency feature solo acts, duos, trios and larger bands on occasion. While there are no bands at Tuna Town and Fred's Mexican Cafe, these places attract a loyal following of those who seek atmosphere.  Tuna Town sports memorabilia from the rock band, Korn, and offers a fabulous sound system with high-energy music creating a great experience. Fred's has velvet paintings of Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison. It plays solid rock and offers night time  with pool tables and ocean views from its second floor deck.

There are two resorts in Huntington Beach with restaurants and bars. Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort & Spa offers live music several nights at Pete Mallory's Sunset Grille and also at Red Chair Lounge. Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort West Coast Club bar and lounge seasonally offers live music but nothing you can count on regularly. 

Across Beach Boulevard from the resorts is a "get down" restaurant and bar, Tumbleweeds Bar & Grill with live entertainment 7 days a week. For those seeking a great rock band, awesome food, a friendly crowd, Pool Tables, Darts and more, check this place out.

For those seeking jazz, blues and comedy acts in one club, Martini Blues has been voted one of the best clubs in Orange County. It is located at Springdale and Edinger near Huntington Harbour. Many week nights there is no cover, simply a $10 minimum on drinks and food. Another popular place to go is Fitzgerald's on Magnolia near Garfield. Bands play rock and alternative music. Another dinner club that's lesser known but still serves up a nice atmosphere with food and music is Arbor's on Springdale and Warner. They feature live music and entertainment four nights per week.
