taken by the waves and wind. The west facing beaches
deliver a powerful punch during occasional storms. Until
the latest Huntington Beach Pier was constructed with
reinforced pilings coated with a special epoxy, the
previous piers were built and brought down time and

A citizen's group was so determined to
have the pier re-built in Huntington Beach, they raised
over a million dollars to get the task accomplished.
