When a new restaurant and sports bar opened on Main Street in Huntington Beach not long ago, girls on roller blades handed out promotional materials.  There was also a guy (not shown)  in a g-string swimsuit of red, white and blue making guest appearances along the promenade. Don't be too shocked. This is half a block from the beach in Huntington Beach and Main Street is virtually an extension of the beach itself.

As a matter of fact, several boutiques such as Diane's and Merrilee's sell swimsuits all year long. Huntington Beach enjoys a warm climate most the time and winter clothes never require anything more than a jacket.
