Cruise of Light Holiday Boat Ride 2007
Take a magical
cruise through the beautiful waterways of Huntington
Harbour on the ruise of Lights! The Cruise of Lights is a 45
minute narrated tour, by boat, where visitors from around the world view
thousands of lights on homes, boats, decks, and docks.
Voted Top Ten Holiday events by Coastal Living Magazine!
Passengers experience stunning light displays, and proceeds go to
further the music programs of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County
for
over 200,000 students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Cruise Times are: Monday through Friday 6pm,7pm,8pm
Saturday and Sunday 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm
Hundreds of volunteers in the Huntington Harbour Philharmonic Committee
spend all year preparing for the Cruise of Lights. As a prelude to this
event, our Committee sponsors a two night Boat Parade. Decorated boats
wind around the Harbour waterways to the delight of thousands of
viewers.
They award
beautiful trophies in many categories for the boats and
decorated homes.
