Surf City Nights Street Fair
Surf & Art WALK is a two-day
event hosted by Huntington Beach Downtown Business
Improvement District (HBDBID) in conjunction with the
City of Huntington Beach and Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau.
This free weekend festival will be held on the first through
third blocks of Main Street on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday,
September 16, 2007.
For those seeking family fun
entertainment, this special event will include many activities, entertainment, fashion, and even a surf-themed movie, "Step Into Liquid".
It will be held on the sidewalks, street and in restaurants in
downtown Huntington Beach, home to a weekly Surf City Nights
Tuesday evening street closure event.

- Car show- location:
Electric Chair parking lot at 410 Main Street (4th block)
- Surfing Bands Start at
11:00 AM and will be intertwined with other bands during the two
day event. Band location: Main and Pacific Coast Highway
- Hourly raffle at the BID
Information booth for "free admission tickets" to the Aquarium
of the Pacific
- Harley Davidson, custom
motor cycle exhibit both days on the first block
- Kids activities on Olive
and Walnut, throughout the event

The free Surf & Art Walk and Surf City
Nights offer an exciting fall line-up and more reasons to visit downtown Huntington Beach. Over 100 shops
and restaurants comprise this lively shopping, dining and entertainment region
anchored by the beautiful Pacific Ocean and Huntington Beach Pier. Located on
Main Street and bounded by Pacific Coast Highway, Orange Ave., 5th St. and 3rd
St., downtown Huntington Beach has long been the gathering place for beach-close fun.
At the Surf & Art WALK, visitors will
discover events and activities for the entire family to enjoy. Main Street
closure allows guests to stroll in the street, unencumbered by traffic. At the
two-day event activities will include:
Live entertainment with music, kids bouncy
house, balloon artists, face painters and kid-friendly foods available for a
fee. Custom build Harley Davidson motorcycles will please all ages. The premier
motorcycle manufacture produces bikes in the price range of luxury cars.
With its surf theme, the Surf & Art WALK
will include exhibits from the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum,
plus an outdoor movie, "Step Into Liquid", which is about surfing. Guest appearances from
the movie director and writer, Dana Brown, Q & A session about the movie and the
small town surf camaraderie that Huntington Beach symbolizes will be part of
this movie experience in which guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair to
sit and enjoy this free showing that begins around dusk.
