Painted Ladys at the Beach came to Huntington Beach in 2004 as a shop specializing in gifts for women and children.  It opened with a splash with seasonal items for Halloween and Christmas. The shop now carries more clothing and accessories than decorator gift items. Leather belts, purses, vests and a variety of shawls, blouses, dresses, hats, lapel pins and assorted gifts are sold in the shop located on the 4th block of Main Street next to Newport Cotton Exchange and HQ Salon.

The women running the shop are always helpful and eager to receive feedback. Street parking is limited but if you find yourself in a pinch, there is parking down the block at Plaza Almeria.

Painted Ladys at the Beach is located in Huntington Beach in the downtown region. The shop is one of the few downtown women's clothing stores catering to a mature audience. For those who don't want swimsuits and surfer wear, this shop is a perfect alternative.
