Bless the Agua, Bless the Waves in Huntington Beach

Blessings and salutations to the Pacific Ocean and Huntington Beach waves. Blessing of the Waves has become an annual ritual of beach blessings that draws fans who come to watch priests and pastors raise their hands to bless the water. The blessed event takes place next to the Huntington Beach Pier on September 8, 2013, at around 9 a.m. The Interfaith Council has become involved and we suspect it is probably a longer ceremony now, probably with many religous reps speaking, praying and groups singing songs, similar to the Interfaith Council's Pier Processions they used to host.
