| The Metropolitan Water District is one of the key agencies
for the distribution of water provided to some 9 million or so residents
and businesses in the Los Angeles area. An annual company picnic was held
near a dam (where else) with hundreds of employees attending.
An entire issue of the MWD newsletter
was devoted to the celeberation which included, food, games,
prizes and relaxation. Employees gain access to their officers and
form closer bonds with others through these events.
Egg tosses, dunking tanks, volleyball tournaments and
live music, a good time was had by all, though some didn't quite
make it to the end. |
