February 6, 2005  Pacific Shoreline Marathon - Pacific Shoreline Marathon's 10th annual 26.2 mile marathon travels along a beautiful oceanfront course, starting and finishing on Pacific Coast Highway. Marathon 7am - Last years Marathon attracted participants from over 40 states and around the world to enjoy Orange County, California's only Marathon. The route takes you along the Pacific Ocean, passing through State Parks and City Beaches with scenic views of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands and Ecological Reserve. It takes in several miles through Orange County's largest municipal park, the shady and tree lined Huntington Beach Central Park that includes lakes around the HB Central Library. Finally, the course includes magnificent beachfront homes and equestrian neighborhoods and the new Orange County Regional Park site adjacent to the beautiful Seacliff County Club before finishing at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza Amphitheater in a spectacular oceanfront setting.  Half Marathon 7am  The Half Marathon has become one of the premier Half Marathon's in the United States and a popular tune-up race for the Los Angeles Marathon.
