CALIFORNIA PHOTOS AND INFORMATION |
 |
 |
|
|
Manning Park sits
on a hill. It includes
swings, slides, ladders to
climb, lush lawns and a
basketball court.
Manning Park
California Street and
Detroit Avenue Huntington Beach,
California
Manning Park is a 2.5
acre park not far from the
beach or Beach Boulevard.
When you park curbside, you
must climb a slight incline
to get up to the playground,
field, picnic tables and
basketball court. The
park is bounded by the major
streets Beach Boulevard,
Atlanta and Indianapolis
Avenues and Lake Street.
Named after Ed Manning,
Huntington Beach's mayor in
1909, 1920 and 1922, the
park is a great local
neighborhood park for
parents to take children to
learn to walk and play.
It is maintained by the City
of Huntington Beach Parks
Maintenance division.

The City of
Huntington Beach (California) is the caretaker
and steward of the Huntington Beach public park

Beach parks are the Community Services
Department and Park Maintenance. Park Maintenance is
responsible for maintaining approximately 67
parks and public facilities, totaling 598 acres,
169 playground apparatus and irrigation
