Huntington Beach Main Street is Outdoor Dining Capitol of the World

60 Restaurants, Diners, Cafes & Candy, Ice Cream, Coffee and Confections Shops

With more outdoor tables percentage-wise than Paris or Rome, Huntington Beach qualifies as the Outdoor Dining Capitol of the World.  Of approximately 60 food menu restaurants, only several do not provide outdoor seating. By the numbers, 90% of Main Street restaurants offer outdoor tables and seating. That's incredible! Main Street Dining is a favorite activity at the beach. Just looking at the slim, hard bodies passing by in their swimsuits and wetsuits, you can't believe that there's so much food available and yet, so many healthy looking people. Why? Huntington Beach is also a sports mecca. While some call it Surf City, really only a minority of people visiting actually surf. What most are inclined to do is walk. That's the number one way to get around, sample the food and enjoy some light or intensive exercise. Walking around the town, you'll notice there's a lot of food being cooked and served. Below is a list of most of the places serving food and beverage. Food options at the beach, pier and Main Street in Huntington Beach are varied but primarily allow casual attire with the ocean breeze always softly blowing to remind you that you're at the beach.
