Huntington Beach, Calif.--Hello Friends, Wishing all of You a Very Happy Easter!!!!! In a previous newsletter we mentioned California Greetings. Here's what events are happening in Southern California:

Saturday:

Looking to take a drive, Come to Underwood Family Farms Easter On The Farm 2010 Event which is from 9AM to 6PM..Bring your entire family to Moorpark, California for an Easter Extravaganza. They'll be an Easter Scavenger Hunt, Tractor-Drawn Wagon Rides, Farm Animals and Pictures with The Easter Bunny, If you bring your Camera. The cost is $5. Children less than 2 are free. Learn about the Bolsa Chica Wetlands on this free public tour offered by the Amigos de Bolsa Chica. Every first Saturday of the month you can learn about the Bolsa Chica Story. Amigos de Bolsa Chica docents will gather at the south lot of the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, across the street from the main entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach. Docents are stationed on or near the footbridge, a truly magnificent entrance to the restored Bolsa Chica wetlands. Tours begin every 15 minutes and five areas of interest are included in the presentation: history, birds, endangered species, ecology and restoration. This free tour is on a first come, first serve basis. This is a wonderful opportunity for vacationers, students, small groups and local citizens to visit our valuable resource. *Please note: dogs and bikes are not permitted. Help weed, water, plant, clear brush, tend the compost and vermiculture bins, perform building maintenance and do anything else needed to keep Shipley Nature Center vibrant and open to the public. Shipley Restoration Days are held on the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon. Call 714-842-4772 for more information.

Springtacular!
Springtacular at Borders in Long Beach's Pike at Rainbow Harbor (101 South Pine Avenue) at 11am will feature stories, music and crafts. Top it all off with an annual Spring Parade! Brunch at the Hilton Waterfront. Easter Brunch will be presented in three different seatings at 10:00am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm. The prices for this event are $75 per adult and $12.95 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Two egg hunts will be held on the pool deck for children ages 3 to 12, and will take place at 12 and 2:30 p.m. Guests who wish to enjoy Easter Brunch at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort are encouraged to make reservations by calling (714) 845-8444. Tuesday:

The GRAMMY Museum is joining The Rock and Roll Emporium (The RARE) Tuesday April 6 2010 at Surf City Nights from 5pm to 9pm at 205 Main Street in Huntington Beach for an Orange County Membership Drive.

Membership offers a backstage pass to a world of intimate performances, plus illuminating lectures, classes, special events, and a free subscription to the Members' e-zine On The Record. Attendees that beome members at the event will receive an added bonus of a $20.00 gift certificate for The Rock and Roll Emporium and 20% discount on Debut Memberships and above.
