plein air or open, outdoor, in-the-fresh-air
painting is somewhat of a new event in Huntington
Beach that's "drawing" artists from the art community
to the beach to paint. In an annual plein air beach
painting contest, artists now have an excuse to come
on an art beach vacation to plein air paint their
favorite subjects in Huntington Beach, California.
