Main Street Promenade Parking Structure in
Huntington Beach is contained in
a commercial building with restaurants, shops, offices an
elevator and public restrooms. Entrances to the car
park area of the building exist on two streets, Walnut and
Olive. A gate arm rises after a ticket is taken from the
machine upon entry. Booth guards collect your money
upon exit of the parking garage. A City of Huntington Beach
parking pass works at this location.
Published parking prices (subject to change) are posted
as $1 per 30 minutes with $9 maximum. Several
special events during the year are charged at a fee of
$1/20 minutes to maximum of $12. Those events include
Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July holiday, Labor Day
weekend, US Open of Surfing and AVP Pro Beach Volleyball
Tournament.
Located on the east side of Main Street between Walnut
and Olive Streets (near 24 Hour Family Fitness and and Post
Office). If the garage is full, there are other pay
parking garages nearby.
New for 2010:
Parking rates in beach
lots increase to $15 a day
Parking rates for the Strand and annual pass will go into
effect on Dec. 1 and all other parking changes will be
enacted on Jan. 1.
Maximum daily rates for beach lots will now be $15 – for
most parking areas the maximum rate is currently $12.

enter the parking lot after 9 p.m.
(Employee validation
rates will go up to $2 a day from 50 cents a day and

Beach Parking Pass is
Valid in at 200 Main Street lot. Cost for 1 year $150
Annual parking passes are
available for purchase beginning December 1, and are valid
through December 31, 2010. Passes are only sold to vehicles
less than 20' in length. Pass holders may park in all beach
parking lots from Beach Boulevard to the pier. The pass is
also valid at the off-street metered lots on the ocean side
on Golden West adjacent to the Warner Fire Station boat ramp
and the meters from Beach Blvd. to the border of Bolsa Chica
State Beach, and in the Pier Plaza parking lots. This pass
is NOT good for the Strand Parking Structure.
2010 passes are valid at both the Municipal Beach parking
lots and the Main Promenade Parking Structure. Passes may be
purchased at Beach Division Headquarters, 103 Pacific Coast
Highway or the Community Services counter at City Hall, 2000
Main Street. Call (714) 536- 5281 for additional
information. Seniors must present drivers license and
matching valid vehicle registration at time of purchase.
Passes go on sale December 1st of each year. VISA,
MasterCard, and Discover accepted.
2010 Pass Fees: $150. Seniors (62+) $50 NOTE: All fees
