Oktoberfest is a wunderbar time of year. From mid-September to late October each year, Old World Village in Huntington Beach rolls out the beer barrel for dancing, drinking, German dining and old fashioned fun. It's so simple you have to ask yourself why life can't always be this way.

Located across from the fancy Bella Terra Mall, Old World is more down home. It's basically a big German Beer Hall in the Old World Restaurant. Guests can expect live bands direct from Germany, ample Chicken Dances and even a Mardi Gras atmosphere on weekends (Friday & Saturday nights) with adults only admission. One of our friends even met her current husband at this event, and she'd been sworn single for years!

So if cultural fun that crosses all boundaries sounds like your idea of a good time, head over to the Oktoberfest held each day (minus Mondays & Tuesdays).
