2008 HB Events Photo Calendar - all events

July in Huntington Beach means beach weather. Take a towel or blanket and stake out your claim on some sand. Get it on your skin, in your hair and your clothes. It gets on everything. It's never been called Sand City (that's north in Monterey), but the seaside town that's been called Shell Beach, Pacific City, Oil City and Tin Can Beach can certainly qualify among those that have sand, and lots of it. July events in HB include US Open of Surfing, 4th of July Parade, and a host of free concert events.

For those visiting Huntington Beach, July offers great weather, crowds most weekends and mellow week days with ample space to lay out your towel or blanket.

When visiting HB, be sure to rent a pair of blades or a bike and take a ride down the boulevard, the strand, the cement path, or whatever you prefer to call it and take in 9 lovely miles of oceanfront trail. However, take note: Summer speeds go into effect with an 8 mile per hour limit (approx.) and lots of cross traffic to watch out for.
