Bodhi Tree Vegetarian Cafe is open daily, serving lunch and dinner with Vietnamese specialties, sandwiches, chef specials, Hot Pot Soup, Tofu and Vegetable Dishes and meat entrees that include Calimari, Curry Stir Fry, Hot & Spicy Chicken, Pork or Shrimp, Kung Pao Stirfry, Vegetable Medley and more. The nicely decorated restaurant includes a centerpiece, ornate water fountain that greets your entrance into the cafe. Indoor tables and outdoor dining in the shade are both available at this affordable cafe with prices beginning at around $5. 

Lunch specials at an affordable price come with Rice, Chowmein, Soup and an Entree of choice such as Vietnamese Crepe, Crepe with Shrimp,  Spring Roll, Shredded Tofu Spring Roll, Jicama Spring Roll, Eggless Egg Roll, Jicama Yam Shrimp Cakes, Mushroom Calimari, Grilled Vegetable Skewers, Potstickers, Fried Wonton, Seaweed Wraps, Edamame, Assorted Cold Cuts Platter.

Sandwiches familiar to those who have dined on Vietnamese style Baguettes include Spicy Chicken Satay Baguette, Shredded Tofu Baguette, Curry Stew with French Roll and Beef Stew with French Roll.

Chefs Specials include Herbed Fish Fillet on a Sizzling Platter served with dill and mixed greens, Salty Fried Lobster, Sizzling Black Pepper Beef, Crispy Orange Chicken, Garlic Shrimp, Steamed  Abalone with Shitake Mushroom, Crispy Chicken with Lemon Glaze, BBQ Smoked Duck and Steamed Chicken with Mustard Greens.

Salads are fresh and unique with a variety of items not seen elsewhere in downtown Huntington Beach.  Chopped Lotus Root Salad, Jack Fruit Salad on a bed of sesame chips, Salmon Skin Salad with Ponzu Dressing, Tofu Salad with Peanut Dressing, Chicken Cabbage Salad with Vinaigrette, Jelly Fish Salad with Vinaigrette, Watercress Beef Salad and Chicken Walnut Salad are some of the choices ranging in price from around $7 to $12 (subject to change).

Soups include Sizzling Rice Vegetable Soup, Asparagus & Crab Soup, Sweet & Sour Vietnamese Soup, Wonton Vegetable Soup, Combination Vegetable Soup, Chicken Vermicelli Soup and Hot Pot Soups such as Tom Yum Style Hot Pot Soup, Spicy Southern Style and Seafood Hot Pot Soup.

The family-owned and operated business is located in the Townsquare Center on the fifth block of Main Street near another health food store, Jan's Health Bar, and fabulous Thai Wave just half a block away and across the street.

The Bodhi Tree Vegetarian Cafe is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (subject to change) and provides free deliver to its local area with a minimum purchase of $20. The menu is printed in both English and Vietnamese. Convenient street parking and coin metered parking is located in front of the shop. If that parking is taken, you can also park a block away in Plaza Almeria garage.
