Leuer Family Story

Karen Leuer
Daughter Danielle (7)

The lure of warm weather, great beaches, and a room-mate brought Karen Leuer to Huntington Beach ten years ago. Since that time she has become the mother of seven year old Danielle. The two live in the Harbor area and enjoy the abundant parks and community activities. Central Park is a particular favorite with its meandering pathways, duck ponds, and of course, the Park Bench Caf' where pets are always welcome.

Danielle enjoys time with her pets 'Kitty and Pablo.' She attends Scats Gymnastics and is an experienced traveler. This little jet-setter spends her time between Colorado, where her father lives, and Huntington Beach.

When out of town friends come to visit 'A trip to Ruby's on the Pier is a most do activity' says Karen, who has spent the past year and a half working for our fair city. Prior to that, Karen spent twenty years with an airline company.

Karen loves the diversity of our city, the safe communities, and the feeling of belonging. In one hundred years her wish is 'That our city will still be here.'
