Johnson Family Story

Ten people constitute three generations of HB's Johnson family: grandparents Craig and Diane, the grown kids Brad and Nicole Johnson and Joy and Zoran Forgiarini, and the grandkids, Jadelyn and Kylie Forgiarini and Danielle and Erin Johnson. And while they do not live in the same house, they live close enough to each other in HB that they could all live together!

Some of the family's favorite places in HB are 301, Ruby's, and Smokin' Mo's. They enjoy Tuesday nights on Main St . and like to bring visitors there. They hang out at the beach and on the pier. They ride bikes at the beach and go surfing. And in a rare first and third generation only activity, Grandma and Grandpa took the four grandchildren on the train to San Diego. Using the famous SD trolley and a convenient bus, they went to the San Diego Zoo. The train, the trolley, the bus, and the zoo were all firsts for the kids.

This is a family that also caravans together. The adults have motor homes and they have traveled to Bass Lake , Lake Topaz near the Ca/Nev border, and Lake Buena Vista. They have also shared a houseboat on Lake Shasta.

This is an Edison HS family. They have been active supporters of EHS football. Zoran teaches reading and coaches at Edison . Diane has been a secretary at Edison for 30 years. And Joy is a 2nd grade teacher, though not at Edison ! She is at Perry Elementary School. Craig was a policeman in Newport Beach and Orange for 15 years.

The Johnsons are a happy family. And perhaps the happiest of them is 10 year-old Jadelyn. Last year Diane surprised her by taking her to the American Idol finals!
