Huntington Beach Tree Society
Volunteers Needed
Huntington Beach Tree Society needs volunteer help to water trees in an
area near Central Park. Young trees at the urban forest need an extra
drink to fend off the dry summer heat. Water hoses and water are
supplied to volunteers seeking to contribute to the healthy, green
environment the city of Huntington Beach enjoys with its lush
landscapes, 70 parks,
sports complex and the cornerstone
Central Park in which the Urban Forest is
situated.
This experience will be delightful because you will experience the
beauty and serenity of the Urban Forest while watering our precious
resources. The amount of time and effort you wish to devote to this
endeavor will be up to you. Give us a call and we will give you
directions, instructions and all other pertinent details.
For more information, please call Jean Nagy, Huntington Beach Tree
Society President, at 714- 564-1396.
