Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights Dates Set for 2011
Huntington Harbour Cruise of Lights will be held December 16 – 23, 2011 with times each night at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Cost is $17 adult, $10 kid. Tickets are available by calling the Cruise of Lights office. The event is an annual 40+ year tradition raising much needed funds for youth educational music programs no longer offered in public schools. This dedicated volunteer group is an amazing asset that organizes an annual tour where the public is invited to ride on yachts that ply the waterways of five manmade islands of Huntington Harbour to see lighted homes dressed in lights and displaying holiday themes. Each year the event invites Huntington Harbour residents to participate as valued partners in decorating their houses to make the event more festive. Some of the displays are cute and fun, and others are lavish and amazing.
