Black Pearl Brewery is a nicely decorated coffee, tea and dessert store located near  Starbucks in the unique Team building at the corner of Main & Olive. Look for the green copper roof and you'll be in the vicinity of this tea brewery (there's another brewery that makes beer down a block towards the pier, Huntington Beach Beer Co. Black Pearl Brewery is across the the street from Cold Stone Creamery, providing a lighter dessert experience with Gelato made with milk instead of the more fattening cream. Still tasting rich and creamy, you can chose a variety of flavors made with fresh fruits and berries.

Black Pearl Gelato is prepared daily from fresh, natural ingredients with a smooth texture and low fat content. The cream flavors are dairy based with only 4 to 7% fat and approximately 130 to 170 calories per ounce. The fruit flavors are water based with less than 1% vegetable fat and approximately 120 to 160 calories per ounce. 

Gelato flavors may include Pistachio, Vanilla, Caramel, Bounty, Tiramisu, Hazelnut, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate, Meringue, Coffee Break, Mint Chocolate, Almond Roca, Chocolate Hazelnut and Coconut Malyasia. Fruit flavors may include Raspberry, Lemon, Strawberry, Banana, Pineapple, Sour Cherry, Cherry, Mango, Peach, Orange, Blueberry, Black Berry, Green Apple and Wild Berry. Gelatos are served in cups, cones and in Gelato Shakes. They are also sold by the pint, quart and 1/2 gallon sizes.

Shaved Ice comes in Red Raspberry, Cherry, Banana, Green Apple, Wild Cherry, Grape, Strawberry Fresh, Bubblegum, Lemon/Lime, Blue Raspberry, Tigers Blood, Grape, Watermelon and Passion Fruit. Prices for individual servings of Gelatos, shakes, cones and shaved ice begin around $2.

The Brewery serves Milk Teas at prices beginning around $2.50 to $3 with flavors such as House Milk Tea, Pearl Milk Tea, Thai Iced Tea, Honeydew Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Almond Milk Tea, Peppermint Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea.  Note: Flavors and prices are subject to change.

Flavored Green or Black Tea comes in House Blend, Passion Fruit, Peach, Honey Iced, Apple Iced, Ly-Chee Iced, Strawberry Iced,  Peppermint Green, Apple Tea with Honey and Passionfruit Mango Green Tea or order some of these flavors as Teazers.

From the Hot Tea List you have a world of choices that make it clear how this shop is different from Starbucks. The coffee list is small but the tea selection offers an incredible array of choices that include Blue Lady, Orange Blossom Oolong, New Zealand Sunnyslopes, Blood Orange, Chna Jasmine, Gen Mai Chai, Garden Treat, Friesias, Org Roobis, Berry Patch, China White pai Mu Tan, Moroccan Green Mint, Moto Chai, Assam Fancy 2nd Flush, China Jasmine, Dragon Phoenix Pearl, Japanese Cherry Sakura, Sitxteen Herb Mu and the popular Green or Black Teas.

Coffee flavors include Houseblend, Almond and Vanilla. Hot Chocolate is also available. 

There are several limited parking spaces near the building, coin metered parallel parking and Plaza Almeria parking garage across the street providing 30 minutes free parking.
